SANDUSKY - Cedar Point was busy this weekend because of good weather and the activities offered at the park, according to spokesman Bryan Edwards.

The park doesn't release figures, but Edwards said attendance was good, commenting specifically on Saturday.

The World Series made its debut at the park on the giant screen.

The park is open for one more weekend, closing Oct. 29 for the season. The 10th anniversary of HalloWeekends features haunted houses, midway walk-through attractions and children's activities.
