CP to celebrate Gemini's 25th anniversary

Cedar Point will celebrate Gemini's 25th birthday on Tuesday, June 17.

All full-time staff who were working at Cedar Point when Gemini opened to the public on June 17, 1978 will be invited to gather at Gemini for a special ride. Cedar Fair, L.P. CEO Dick Kinzel, who was Cedar Point's Director of Operations in 1978, will be in the first seat of Gemini's train. After the ride, a group photo will be taken.

There will also be signs and a guestbook for people to sign that will go in the Town Hall Museum. In addition, some commemorative things are planned for Cedar Point's Web site.
