Cedar Point to hold interviews March 3 for summer jobs in Sandusky

SANDUSKY, Ohio, February 22, 2007 - Cedar Point, home of the new Maverick roller coaster, will be conducting walk-in interviews for more than 4,000 summer jobs at the amusement park/resort on Saturday, March 3 at the Breakers Express Hotel in Sandusky.

WHO
Cedar Point, voted "Best Amusement Park in the World" for a record nine consecutive years in an international survey conducted by Amusement Today newspaper.

WHAT
More than 4,000 positions are available at the park. Jobs such as ride host, food host, admissions employee, merchandise associate, marina dockhand, lifeguard and hotel clerk are available. Internships are also available in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Recreation, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Human Resources and many more.

WHEN
Saturday, March 3 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Cedar Point's Breakers Express Hotel, located at 1201 Cedar Point Drive in Sandusky.

WAGES
Cedar Point offers one of the best packages in the amusement industry. Wages for most positions start at $6.85 per hour! Employees under 16 years old will earn $5.65 an hour. Returning employees under 16 years old will earn $6.15 an hour. In addition to hourly wages, employees who fulfill the terms of their Employment Agreement will be eligible for an attractive Bonus Program that allows employees to earn an extra $.50 per hour worked!
