Lt. governor discusses new start date for Ohio schools

Lt. Gov. Lee Fisher addressed the elected officials of Erie County yesterday as part of the annual reception hosted by the Erie County Chamber of Commerce.

The reception, at Cedar Point's Castaway Bay Indoor Waterpark Resort, seemed an appropriate venue for Erie and Ottawa counties' travel and tourism officials to lobby Fisher about their goal of having school years begin after Labor Day in order to help local tourism and Ohio's economy.
