Two Cedar Point employees were arrested by Cedar Point police on Saturday for allegedly showing pornography to an underage female employee, the Sandusky Register reported in it's Monday morning edition.
Lanita Tramell, 33, of Cleveland, was charged with felony disseminating matter harmful to a minor. Rodrick Wilson, 30, of Taylor, Mich., was charged with two counts of felony disseminating matter harmful to a minor and one count of misdemeanor menacing. The misdemeanor charge stems from Wilson allegedly threatening to harm the underage female employee.
The Register reported that Cedar Point police arrested Tramell and Wilson after receiving a call from the mother of the alleged victim. All three people involved were summer employees living in the park’s employee housing. The alleged incident took place in Tramell's dorm room.
Cedar Point spokesman Robin Innes told the Register that both arrested employees have been suspended pending due process, and that the park would terminate their employment if they were found guilty of a felony.
Tramell and Wilson are being held at the Erie County Jail and are scheduled to be arraigned in Sandusky Municipal Court today.
