Cedar Fair declares third quarter cash distribution

SANDUSKY, OHIO, October 15, 2007 -- Cedar Fair Entertainment Company (NYSE: FUN), publicly traded leader in regional amusement parks, water parks and active entertainment, today announced the declaration of a regular quarterly cash distribution of 47.5 cents per limited-partner unit, consistent with the company’s annualized distribution rate of $1.90 per unit that was announced in March.

“Based on expectations for the full year, the Board of Directors determined that the Partnership’s cash flow will be sufficient to maintain the annualized distribution rate of $1.90 per unit, which was increased this past year in March,” said Dick Kinzel, chairman, president and chief executive officer.

The distribution, which is payable November 15, 2007, to holders of record November 5, 2007, represents the company’s 82nd consecutive quarterly cash distribution.

Kinzel also mentioned the company plans to announce its 2007 third quarter results before market hours on Tuesday, November 6, 2007. The company will host a conference call with analysts that afternoon at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time, which will be web cast live in “listen only” mode via the Cedar Fair web site (www.cedarfair.com).
