Cedar Point is hopeful that Top Thrill Dragster will open at some point today, although the park cannot make any guarantees, according to Cedar Point public relations representative Janice Witherow. Maintenance employees worked through a second night installing the new cable and preparing the ride for operation.

In other news, Top Thrill Dragster is now certified to operate six trains, bringing the ride to full capacity.
