Cedar Point is now hiring to fill more than 4,000 jobs.
Cedar Point Press ReleaseSANDUSKY, Ohio – Now that spring break is coming to a close, the summer excitement at Cedar Point amusement park/resort is just around the corner – and you can be a part of it! The park voted the “Best Amusement Park in the World” for ten years running is now hiring to fill the best job positions around.
More than 4,000 jobs are available, including marina dockhand, lifeguard, merchandise attendant, ride operator, admissions employee, parking/tolls attendant, hotel clerk and more. Cedar Point also offers internships in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Recreation, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Human Resources and many more.
Cedar Point will be holding one last open interview session in Sandusky at the park’s Breakers Express Hotel, 1201 Cedar Point Drive, on Saturday, April 5 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. You are not required to attend the interview session to be considered for employment. All potential employees should complete the online application at cedarpoint.com.
Cedar Point offers a competitive wage package and bonus program. Most positions start at $7 per hour. Employees under 16 years old will earn $5.80 an hour. Employees who fulfill the terms of their Employment Agreement will be eligible for the Bonus Program, allowing employees to earn an extra 35 cents per hour worked. From Sept. 8 through Nov. 2, the bonus will increase to $1 per hour for employees age 16 and older who work during the park’s HalloWeekends event and successfully complete their employee contract.
