Cedar Point & Lake Erie RailroadIn 1963 a new ride debuted at Cedar Point that would forever change the landscape of the park. That summer, park officials introduced the Cedar Point and Lake Erie Railroad. Since that first summer, more than 107 million guests have taken the 15-minute excursion to Frontiertown, Boneville and back to the Main Station. To help celebrate the 45th anniversary of the Cedar Point and Lake Erie Railroad, there will be special displays, souvenirs and other interactive activities scheduled.
