SANDUSKY, Ohio – The kids are back in school, but Cedar Point amusement park/resort in Sandusky, Ohio, still has a full schedule of fun-filled activities and money-saving offers.  From boats to birthdays and scares to savings, Cedar Point has it all.

North American In-Water Boat Show

The 36th annual North American In-Water Boat Show is set to drop anchor in the Cedar Point Marina, Wednesday through Sunday, Sept. 10-14.  Boaters looking to add a new level of thrills and excitement will want to check out the special “Boaters and Coasters” deal on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 13-14.  Purchase a regular adult admission ticket to Cedar Point’s HalloWeekends on Saturday or Sunday and receive a FREE admission ticket to the boat show.  This special offer is only available at Cedar Point or online at www.cedarpoint.com/deals.  (Regular admission to the boat show does not include admission to Cedar Point.)

The Cedar Point Boat Show is the largest boat show on the Great Lakes and features hundreds of the newest power and sail boats and accessories.  This year, visitors will be able to take free test drives at the Demo Dock, learn how to sail at the Sail Pier and find great deals at the Brokerage Pier, Vintage Dock, Boats under $15,000 Pavilion and the Boats $15,000-$25,000 Pavilion.

Regular admission is $9 for adults, while children, age 12 and younger, are free.  

Hours for the boat show will be noon to 7 p.m., Wednesday through Friday, Sept. 10-12; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13; and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 14.  

HalloWeekends

With more thrills and chills than ever, the 12th annual HalloWeekends at Cedar Point features three haunted houses, five frightful walk-through attractions, spine-tingling live entertainment, festive displays, special areas and shows for kids and more hauntingly good times than you can shake a witch’s broom stick at.  New this year are a haunted house, two themed walk-through attractions, two live shows, two places to eat and two attractions designed for kids.

HalloWeekends at Cedar Point will be held Friday nights, Saturdays and Sundays, Sept. 12 through Nov. 2.  Open 6 p.m. to midnight on Friday nights (only a portion of the park is open); noon to midnight on Saturdays; and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays.  (On Sunday, Oct. 12, the park will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.)
