SANDUSKY, Ohio, May 18 -- A good soaking, entertainment that wows and money-saving meals can all be had during Memorial Day Weekend at Cedar Point amusement park/resort in Sandusky, Ohio.

On Saturday and Sunday night, May 23-24, the Starlight Experience will make its debut along the Frontier Trail. Beginning at twilight, the Frontier Trail will be transformed into a canopy of lights and colors. Using more than 1 million LED lights, the wooded walkway will feature four displays, each depicting a season of the year. The Starlight Experience will be presented again on May 29-30 and nightly June 5 through Sept. 6 when the park closes at 10 p.m. or later.

Near the Cedar Point Beach, the All Wheels Extreme stunt show will open for its second season in the Extreme Sports Stadium. With acrobatic bikers, gymnasts, a rollerblader and more, this "big air" show will feature an assortment of gravity-defying stunts, colorful costumes and high-energy music.

A great meal deal has also been added to a weekend of fun and excitement. Saturday, Sunday and Monday, guests can purchase a combo ticket that includes park admission and the All-American all-you-can-eat picnic with southern fried chicken, hot dogs, potato salad, baked beans, cookies, ice cream and Pepsi beverages. Adult combo tickets are only $44.95 (plus tax), while Junior (under 48 inches tall) and Senior (age 62 and older) tickets are only $24.95 (plus tax). Children age 2 and younger are free.
