Kicker Phil Dawson to visit Cedar Point on June 24

SANDUSKY, Ohio --- Football fans will be able to see kicker Phil Dawson on a playing field of a different kind when the placekicker for the Cleveland Browns visits Cedar Point on Wednesday, June 24.

A 10-year veteran, Dawson will meet guests and sign autographs from noon to 1:30 p.m. near the Raptor roller coaster at the Sandusky, Ohio, amusement park/resort.

Dawson has been with the team since 1999.  He currently owns the team record for most consecutive field goals made (27) and most field goals made in a game (6).  He was also named to the 2nd team of the Associated Press All-NFL roster in 2007.  His longest field goal is 56 yards.

Before turning pro, Dawson played at the University of Texas where he lettered for four years and was named to the University of Texas All-Century Team.
