Fun-seekers and school employees can save big at Cedar Point this weekend

SANDUSKY, Ohio – This weekend, Cedar Point will be offering two money-saving deals to its guests. The Sandusky, Ohio, amusement park/resort will be extending its popular Staycation Weekend packages and will also introduce its first-ever Salute Education Weekend.

Both promotions will be available Friday through Sunday, Aug. 14-16.

Returning for a second weekend, the Staycation packages will provide guests the option of three money-saving plans that boast savings of up to 40 percent. Package options include the Ultimate Family 4-Pack, the Gemini Couples Package and the Staycation Overnight package for a family of four that can save guests nearly $200 on the cost of the package elements purchased separately. Packages include admission tickets to the park, an All-You-Can-Eat buffet and game vouchers.  The Staycation Overnight Package also includes four Starlight admission tickets (valid after 5 p.m.) and overnight accommodations for four at the Breakers Express Hotel, located on Cedar Point Drive.

In addition to the Staycation packages, Cedar Point will also hold the inaugural Salute Education Weekend. During this special three-day event, Cedar Point will recognize the men and women who work to make our schools better with huge discounts on admission.

With the school starting shortly, teachers, professors, administrative assistants, the cafeteria and maintenance staffs and all other school employees who present their school ID will receive an $11 savings on admission for themselves and their immediate family.
