There will be singing, sailing and screaming next weekend at Cedar Point

Cedar Point Press Release SANDUSKY, Ohio, – Cedar Point amusement park/resort, recently voted the “Best Amusement Park in the World” for a record 12th consecutive year, will host a wide variety of special events next weekend that are sure to thrill guests of all ages.
Christian Music ConcertOn Saturday, Sept. 19, Cedar Point guests can rock out to an all-star lineup of Christian music artists as the park debuts its’ first-ever PointFest festival. PointFest will allow fans of contemporary Christian music to see and hear some of the biggest names in the industry up close and personal at Cedar Point. The PointFest lineup includes Bluetree, Family Force 5, multiple-Dove Award winner Brandon Heath and Christian music icon TobyMac.
The festival will begin at approximately 4 p.m. and will run until after 9 p.m. and will take place in the Soak City parking lot. Combo tickets to Cedar Point and the concert are available online and at Cedar Point. Concert only tickets for season passholders and deals for groups of 15 or more are also available. HalloWeekendsThis weekend will also mark the start of Cedar Point’s 13th-annual HalloWeekends event. In addition to all of the thrills and chills that guests have come to expect from HalloWeekends, Cedar Point will introduce two all-new haunted houses this season!
Happy Jack’s Toy Factory will be located in the Disaster Transport building and will feature a wide variety of toys from days gone by and many of them are no longer suitable for this world. Just off the Main Midway, next to Planet Spooky, G.A. Boeckling’s Eerie Estate will have more than 20 rooms of scream-inducing terror!
HalloWeekends at Cedar Point will be held Friday nights, Saturdays and Sundays, Sept. 18 through Nov. 1. Cedar Point will be open 6 p.m. to midnight on Friday nights (only a portion of the park is open); noon to midnight on Saturdays; and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays. (On Sunday, Oct. 11, the park will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.)

North American In-Water Boat ShowThe 37th annual North American In-Water Boat Show is set to drop anchor in the Cedar Point Marina, Wednesday through Sunday, Sept. 16-20.
The Cedar Point Boat Show is the largest boat show on the Great Lakes and features hundreds of the newest power and sail boats and accessories. This year, visitors will be able to enjoy the Boats Under $15,000 and Boats $15,000-$25,000 Pavilion, the Brokerage Pier and the Demo Dock and Sail Pier. New this year, guests can climb aboard two LCM-8 Landing Crafts! A wide variety of other activities and the always-popular Party Barge will also be available.
Regular admission is $9 for adults, $7 for adults age 60 and older, while children, age 12 and younger, are free.
Hours for the boat show will be noon to 7 p.m., Wednesday through Friday, Sept. 16-18; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19; and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20.
