SANDUSKY, Ohio –- With November rapidly approaching, there are only two more weekends remaining to enjoy the fun and frights of HalloWeekends at Cedar Point.

The Sandusky, Ohio, amusement park/resort will only be open Friday nights, Saturdays and Sundays through November 1.

During HalloWeekends, the park combines its unmatched collection of rides and roller coasters with a broad assortment of Halloween attractions that range from outdoor scare zones and haunted houses to live entertainment and children’s attractions.  This fall, the park introduced two new haunted houses, three new live shows and the Overlord, the chieftain of all of the ghastly creatures who lurk in the dark recesses of the park.  

In addition to all the screams and fun, there are some last-minute savings for a visit to HalloWeekends.  These include savings on admission tickets, overnight accommodations and deals on meals that will be available until the park closes for the season on Sunday, Nov. 1.  Some of the newest offers include:

 -- $29.99 tickets are now available for purchase online at cedarpoint.com.  These tickets will be valid every day the park is open for the remainder of the 2009 operating season.  But hurry, there is only a limited supply and when they are gone, they’re gone.

 -- Cedar Point Season Passholders and Cedar Fair Platinum Passholders can Bring-a-Friend on Friday nights and Sundays for only $14.99.  Tickets can be purchased at the park (one ticket per passholder when you show your season pass).

 -- $25 SuperSaver Sunday: Can be purchased online at cedarpoint.com.  Tickets must be purchased by midnight on Thursday, Oct. 29 and are only valid on Sunday, Nov. 1.

HalloWeekends will only be held on the next two weekends: Friday nights, 6 p.m. to midnight (limited ride offering); Saturdays, noon to midnight; and Sundays, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.; through Nov. 1.  On Sundays, the outdoor scare zones will be closed.
