Swan Boats moving to Michigan's Adventure

Cedar Point's loss will be Michigan's Adventure's gain.

The Swan Boats will be relocated to Michigan's Adventure for the 2004 season. The ride was located in the lagoon between the Wave Swinger and the queue for Thunder Canyon. It debuted at Cedar Point on May 10, 1997.

Michigan's Adventure has a larger lake and the ride will be better served, according to Cedar Point Public Relations Manager Janice Witherow. The lagoon that was the ride's location at Cedar Point is small and shallow.

The departure will bring Cedar Point's ride total to 67. The park will still have the most rides of any amusement park in the world.
