Sandusky, Ohio, – Browns fans can kick off the football season early when Phil Dawson, kicker for the Cleveland Browns, will visit Cedar Point on Friday, June 4.

Beginning his 11th season with the Browns, Dawson will meet Browns’ fans and sign autographs from noon to 1:30 p.m. on the main midway near the Game Day Grille and the Raptor roller coaster at the Sandusky, Ohio, amusement park/resort.

Entering this season, Dawson is the Browns’ all-time leader in field goal percentage with 82.8 percent and is second in franchise history in field goals made.  Currently, he is third in scoring in Browns’ history. Dawson also ranks seventh all-time in NFL history in field goal accuracy.

Last season, he attempted and completed the first pass of his career.

Dawson was a three-time All-American while attending the University of Texas where he lettered for four years.  He was also named to the University of Texas All-Century team.
