Footers appear on beach, aquarium being razed

Guests visiting Friday night were greeted with barriers and hard hat signs in front of the former aquarium building (most recently "Stadium Games"). Going behind Giant Wheel, they were surprised to find the back half of the building razed.

On the beach behind Giant Wheel, a series of huge concrete footers have been poured in giant sand pits. The footers appear about 30 feet apart, and are placed everywhere from Disaster Transport down to the area behind the Aquatic Stadium.
