Rookie Sensation Joe Haden To Appear at Cedar Point

Cleveland Browns cornerback will make special appearance on June 17.

SANDUSKY, Ohio – Joe Haden, cornerback for the Cleveland Browns, will trade in the pigskin for a day to play some basketball, when he makes a special appearance at Cedar Point, on Friday, June 17.

Haden will meet guests from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the 3-Point Challenge basketball game, located near the main entrance to the Sandusky, Ohio, amusement park/resort. Guests who play the game will be able to meet Haden as well as receive an autograph from the Browns’ star.

The Browns’ number one draft pick in 2010, Haden completed his first season of professional football with 64 tackles, one sack, one forced fumble and six interceptions. Four of the interceptions were made in four consecutive games, a Browns’ first since 1968.

Haden attended the University of Florida and was the first true freshman to start as cornerback in school history. He had a stellar career at Florida with 218 tackles, 34 pass breakups, eight interceptions and three sacks. Haden received many awards for his play on the field, including the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) All-American Award and was named to the 2009 All-SEC First Team.
