SANDUSKY, Ohio, Aug. 21, 2012 -- Summer is winding down, but these last two weeks before Labor Day are a great time for Michigan residents to visit Cedar Point!

Many students in Ohio are heading back to school this week, giving Michigan families a full two weeks to enjoy shorter lines and save a bundle of money. From now through Saturday, Sept. 1, all Michigan residents are eligible to purchase a special Michigan Savings Days ticket for only $31.99, saving $20 per person on regular daily admission!

This ticket is valid for anyone between the ages of 3-61 who is 48 inches or taller in shoes. It is available online only at cedarpoint.com/Michigan, or by entering "Michigan" in the promotional code box. Michigan Savings Days tickets are valid through Sept. 1.

No matter where you live or which team's colors you wear, you can save big on a trip to Cedar Point in the final weeks of summer with the following offers:

Passholder Bring-A-Friend — From now through Sept. 3, plus the Bonus Weekend of Sept. 7-9, all Season and Platinum Passholders will be able to bring a friend for just $14.99! Tickets are available at the gate only and must be used on the date of purchase.

Student ID Days — Treat yourself to one last vacation before hitting the books. Through Sept. 3 and on the Bonus Weekend of Sept. 8-9, students of any age with a valid student identification card will save $20 off a regular daily admission ticket. The offer is available at the gate only and must be used on the date of purchase.

Ride & Refresh Ticket — Screaming your way down sky-high hills and through heart-pounding inversions is sure to make you thirsty. Why not pay one price and enjoy unlimited ice-cold Pepsi beverages all day long? Through Sept. 3, guests can purchase a special Ride & Refresh ticket for the low price of $46.99 for guests 48 inches or taller and $25 for juniors and seniors. The offer is available online only and includes a savings of $5 off park general admission and a wristband for unlimited beverages.

Weekday Saver Ticket — Families can save even more money by visiting Monday through Friday and taking advantage of a special $36.99 regular one-day admission ticket. This is available online only through Aug. 31.

Cedar Point will be open daily through Labor Day, Sept. 3, plus Friday nights, Saturdays and Sundays, Sept. 7 through Oct. 28.
