Cedar Point disputing Magic Mountain claim of most coasters

Following this week's announcement of three new coasters at Six Flags Magic Mountain, near Los Angeles, Cedar Point is going to fight the claim of most coasters in a park. Superman: The Escape is going to be disputed as a coaster, which, if held true, would make Six Flags Magic Mountain and Cedar Point tied for most coasters in a park.

Guide to The Point, regrettably, takes the stance that Superman is indeed a roller coaster. To not make that consideration would mean discounting rides like Six Flags Ohio's Superman: Ultimate Escape and Speed: The Ride in Las Vegas.
