Special events at Cedar Point this week include:
Math & Science Week (now through Friday, May 17): Cedar Point is taking learning beyond the classroom with Math & Science Week, where hundreds of school groups are exploring hands-on activities on the park’s midway. This year’s science partners include COSI Columbus, Imagination Station in Toledo, Lorain County Community College, the Michigan Science Center, University of Toledo Department of Physics and Astronomy, the NASA Glenn Research Center and more. With the world’s greatest playground as their classroom, students can learn more about microgravity and why it makes them feel weightless on rides such as Power Tower, see potential and kinetic energy play out on roller coasters including the all-new GateKeeper and find out how astronauts prepare for a trip to space.
