Cedar Fair fights Falfas ruling
Company will file appeal next week in Ohio Supreme Court

Cedar Fair will file an appeal next week in an attempt to reverse a ruling last month by the Sixth District Court of Appeals. The appellate judges ruled Cedar Fair has to comply with a ruling by arbitrators that awarded former COO Jack Falfas his old job and gave him back pay.
Falfas was the chief operating officer for Cedar Fair when he had a short but important cell phone conversation on June 10, 2010, with then-CEO Richard Kinzel. When the call ended, Kinzel thought Falfas had quit, but Falfas thought Kinzel had fired him.
