Park representatives at IAAPA (the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions convention and trade show) recently brought home awards various aspects of their operation.
The park scored two "Big-E" awards. Best Overall Production went to "Movies, Movies, Movies," which played in the Centennial Theater, and to "Krash Boom Bang," pre-show for the IMAX movie.
Cedar Point won a Brass Ring Award in the outdoor signage category for its Millennium Force billboard, produced by agency Liggett-Stashower of Cleveland.
Finally, the park was given the Spirit of Excellence Award for best supervisory training program, specifically the preventing workplace violence and managing diversity programs.
