Shoot the Rapids at Cedar Point amusement park remained closed Monday, three days after a rider was treated at a hospital for injuries suffered when a boat rolled back on the lift hill.
Brad Gates, spokesman for the Ohio Department of Agriculture, which operates an Amusement Ride Safety Division, said it is working with park owner Cedar Fair Entertainment Co., and ride manufacturer IntaRide LLC, based in Glen Burnie, Md., to complete the investigation.
