Cedar Point officials are reviewing the popular park's parking and traffic procedures after last weekend's huge crowds led to hours-long waits to exit.

Cedar Point spokesman Bryan Edwards said the parking problem was the result of a "perfect storm" of events: picture-perfect weather on Saturday; big crowds due to the long, Columbus Day weekend; and the growing popularity of the park's annual HalloWeekends event.

Edwards declined to say how many guests were at the park on Saturday, but he said Cedar Point did not set a one-day attendance record over the weekend.
