A grassroots group, frustrated by loss of programs and services in Sandusky, is looking to the city's admissions tax for help.
The admissions tax, a 3 percent fee tacked onto ticket sales at Sandusky-based entertainment venues, largely depends upon Cedar Point. The tax raised $2.8 million in 2013, accounting for 18.8% of the city's overall revenue.
