A former employee at California's Great America has sued Cedar Fair alleging they do not pay employees for all the time they are at work.

Frank Ortegon-Ramirez alleges in a lawsuit he filed in Superior Court of the State of California for the county of Santa Clara that while he worked at California's Great America he and other employees were forced to wait in line, after they had clocked out of work, to be checked out by a supervisor, known as a lead, before they were allowed to leave. The lawsuit alleges this is a pattern indicating a practice of corporate policy.
