Make-A-Wish to team up with park in celebration of carousels

Thursday, June 22, the park will host a kickoff event for the International Year of The Carousel (designated by the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions, or IAAPA). The event will honor local Make-A-Wish child VIP's at 9:45 a.m. on the midway carousel.

To raise money for the foundation, the park will also launch an auction for rare Cedar Point items on the official site, cedarpoint.com.
