2000 Changes ramp up

The season ended Sunday, and already the winter winds of change have begun to change Cedar Point. On closing night, reportedly before the park even closed, crews began to remove the queue for Giant Wheel. By Monday afternoon, Kid Arthur's Court was dismantled to clear the view for Giant Wheel's new home.

Millennium Force got vertical Monday as the first support columns were erected in the area that will be the brake run. Meanwhile, steel workers have been constructing pieces of the towers in the Soak City parking lot. You can watch the progress from Cedar Point's Web cam.
