CP to host charity mini-golf tournament

The park will host the annual American Red Cross Miniature Golf Classic at Challenge Park on Wednesday, May 5, from 4 to 8 p.m. For $25 each or $100 per team of four, the tourney will be a 36-hole scramble. For $10 extra you can compete in a skins game. There will be prizes. In fact, for you non-golfers, there is a $5 admission fee that includes three raffle chances to score an overnight stay in the way-posh Presidential Suite of Breakers Tower and four tickets to the park. Not too shabby!

This "hole" thing is for a great cause, supporting the Firelands Chapter of the American Red Cross. Get out there and contribute, dammit. If you need more information, call the Red Cross at (419) 626-1641.
