Cedar Point to hold interviews for summer jobs in Sandusky

SANDUSKY,Ohio, Jan. 29, 2004 - Cedar Point, home to Top Thrill Dragster, the tallest (420 feet) and fastest (120 mph) roller coaster in the world, will be conducting walk-in interviews for more than 4,000 summer jobs at the amusement park/resort. The interviews will be held at the Radisson Harbour Inn in Sandusky.

Who
Cedar Point, voted the "Best Amusement Park in the World" for an unprecedented six consecutive years in an international survey conducted by Amusement Today.

What
More than 4,000 positions are available in many different job classifications. A wide variety of jobs are available, including ride hosts, food hosts, admissions employees, merchandise associates, marina dockhands, lifeguards and hotel personnel. Internships are also available in a number of majors, including Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Recreation, Marketing/Communications, Finance/Accounting, Human Resources and many more.

When
Saturday, Feb. 7 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Where
Interviews are open to the public and will be held at Cedar Point's Radisson Harbour Inn located at 2001 Cleveland Road in Sandusky.

Wages
Cedar Point offers one of the best wage packages in the amusement industry. Wages for most positions are $6.25 per hour! Selected positions earn $6.50 per hour. Employees under 16 years old will earn $5.65 per hour. In addition to hourly wages, employees who successfully fulfill their Employment Agreement will be eligible for an attractive Bonus Program that allows employees to earn an extra $1 per hour worked!
