More on the "boardwalk" rumors

When we asked the official who told us about the waterfront development if a Cyclone restoration project was a possibility, the official simply replied, "Let's just say we're very happy with Ghost Rider [at Cedar Fair park Knott's]."

Adding fuel to this fiery rumor, the Schwabinchen whirl-n-hurl ride that now calls the Oceana midway home will be moved, probably in the neighborhood of Troika. It is unclear if the move will occur before the start of the season or mid-summer.

Sources say that some show will appear in Oceana for what appears to be its final year. The show will be a standard "package" of sorts, though no contracts have been signed.
