Marjory E Rody, age 70, of Norwalk, died Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at The Cleveland Clinic.
She was born June 20, 1944 in Charleston, SC to the late Harold and Marjory E. (MacLeay) Wiedeman. She was a graduate of Fon du Lac High School in Wisconsin, and received her bachelor’s from Trinity College in San Antonio, TX, and Masters from Bowling Green State University. She choreographed for many years at Sandusky High School, and most of her life choreographed and wrote live shows at Cedar Point, retiring as Vice President of Live Entertainment in 2006. She was a member of the Norwalk Kennel Club and enjoyed performance shows with her German Shepherds.
She is survived by her husband of 12 years, Bob Rody of Norwalk; step-daughters, Kathleen (Rob) Discher of Austin, TX and Mary (Gene) Ogle of Chesterland, OH; twin brothers, Rick (Cathy) Wiedeman of Houston, TX and Rob (Diane) Wiedeman of Plano, TX; nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Friday from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10:30 A.M. at St. Paul Catholic Church, 91 E. Main Street, Norwalk, OH. Monsignor Kenneth Morman, pastor of the church, will officiate.
