Sen. Brown lauds Ohio firms’ role in building Valravn

Senator praises Cedar Point for using Ohio labor and business

U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-OH, visited Cedar Point Monday to help unveil the park's newest roller coaster, Valravn, which was manufactured by Ohio labor and businesses.

Clermont Steel Fabricators, in Batavia, manufactured the track and supports and more than 20 Ohio companies were involved in the construction of Valravn – billed as the world’s tallest, fastest, and longest dive roller coaster. Valravn will be the third dive coaster built in the United States.
