California RNC delegation plans 'Experience Ohio Day' at Cedar Point, Pro Football Hall of Fame

California delegates are staying in Sandusky, 60 miles from the convention.

Ten buses, more than 550 delegates and guests, and 60 miles from Cleveland: The California delegation to the Republican National Convention has settled in Sandusky, and plans to take full advantage of its location.

A group of 120 thrill-seekers is headed to Cedar Point on Tuesday, says delegation leader Cynthia Bryant. The same number will head southeast to Canton to tour the Pro Football Hall of Fame, in what the Californians are calling their "Experience Ohio Day."
