City commissioners voted 4-2 last night for legislation ending the parking tax enacted by the commission last April. Last night's vote means the tax will expire in 30 days, said ex-officio Mayor Mike Kresser.
Although the park paid its taxes under protest, Cedar Point will not take legal action against the city or seek to get back any taxes the park paid, said John Hildebrandt, vice president of marketing for the amusement park.
