Steel Vengeance best new ride, debuts at #3 in the world

Cedar Point received a top honor in Amusement Today's annual Golden Ticket Awards.

Cedar Point received a top honor in Amusement Today's annual Golden Ticket Awards. The coveted Best New Ride award went to Steel Vengeance, the park's record-breaking Steel Vengeance hyper-hybrid roller coaster. The ride broke 10 roller coaster records when it debuted in May 2018.

Five Cedar Point coasters were ranked in the top 20 in the Best Steel Roller Coaster in the World category. Millennium Force was voted #2, Steel Vengeance debuted at #3, and Maverick was voted #9, Magnum XL-200 at #14, and Top Thrill Dragster at #16.
