It is worth mentioning that, with the acquisition of Knott's Berry Farm by Cedar Fair, they also acquired the rights to the Peanuts characters. This screams merchandising opportunities and a new mascot for the kids. Let's face it, most kids don't know who the Berenstain Bears are let alone how to pronounce the name.
