Mean Streak rolls back

Perhaps now Cedar Point will listen to the critics and ditch those brakes on the Mean Streak first drop. The gold train stalled out yesterday following the third drop. Scott Short, who maintains the Really Unofficial Cedar Point Coaster Web Page, captured the Kodak moment for all to see. (Unfrotunately, his snaps caused him to exceed his bandwidth restriction and his ISP shut him down.) I would be really interested to know the real reason these brakes were installed. They detract from the ride.
