Cedar Point’s 2026 HalloWeekends returns with new Diablo maze, themed ride overlays and fall family fun

SANDUSKY, Ohio (Aug. 17, 2026) – Cedar Point’s signature fall event, HalloWeekends presented by SNICKERS, returns select days and nights Sept. 17 – Nov. 1, delivering family-friendly fun by day and heart-pounding thrills after dark. Along with the park’s collection of world-class rides and attractions, guests will experience terrifying haunted mazes, immersive scare zones, live entertainment, seasonal food and beverages and an entire park transformed for Halloween.

Fear Arrives Early

Guests can get a head start on HalloWeekends during “Scream Peek Weekend,” Sept. 10 – 13. The chilling preview includes access to four indoor haunted mazes: Midnight, Fearground Freak Show, The Haunting of Eerie Estate and Slaughterhouse. These indoor attractions offer a first taste of what’s to come this fall at Cedar Point. Guests who purchase or renew a 2027 Season Pass by Sept. 7 will receive a free single-day Haunted Attractions Pass to enjoy the four mazes.

Fear Expanded

New for 2026, guests can step into Blizzard Entertainment’s legendary Diablo franchise and enter a dark gothic world consumed by Evil. They’ll face Diablo, Lilith, Mephisto and Baal as they journey through cursed cathedrals, ancient rituals and unspeakable horrors. Every step along Diablo: The Infernal Path pulls them deeper into the nightmare.

Located near Steel Vengeance in Frontier Town, the attraction marks a new chapter of immersive horror for HalloWeekends.

Back by popular demand, guests can dare to step into The Conjuring: Beyond Fear — an immersive terror experience where they take on the role of paranormal investigator. They’ll encounter malevolent entities of New Line Cinema's The Conjuring Universe, including the infamous Annabelle, and lock away cursed artifacts before sinister forces consume the living realm.

Outdoor haunted attractions included with park admission include the new Crystal Rock Massacre, taking guests into a terrifying summer camp with its dark secrets, Cut Throat Cove, Tombstone Terror-tory: Doc McCoffer's Evil Elixir, CornStalkers 2.0 and Clownz: Hall of Infamy Tour.

The Haunted Attractions Pass, available online and in the park for an additional fee, is required for access to all indoor haunted mazes. An additional ticket is required for access to The Conjuring: Beyond Fear.

Rides Transformed for Halloween

This season, several fan-favorite rides receive haunting transformations designed to extend the scares beyond the park's traditional haunted attractions, including:

  • GateKreeper (GateKeeper) – The eerie guardian that stalks the Main Gate.
  • RougaBOO (Rougarou) – The beast that twists, turns and howls its way through a haunting coaster ride.
  • MaverEEK! (Maverick) – Frontier Town’s popular Wild West nightmare.
  • Midway Scare-ousel (Midway Carousel) – The oldest operating ride in the park rotates backward.
  • Boo Streak (Blue Streak) – A coaster classic with ghostly ups and downs.
  • Ocean Potion (Ocean Motion) – A swinging ship navigating the eerie waters below.

Daytime Fun for Families

During the day, families can enjoy more than 20 Halloween-themed activities and attractions designed especially for younger guests. Popular experiences returning this year include The Magical House on Boo Hill, Trick-or-Treat Trail, Pumpkin Decorating, Pumpkin Patch Picking, Howlin' Hay Maze, Tricky Corn Maze, Harvest Tractors and PEANUTS™ meet-and-greets.

Children can also enjoy the new craft-making Creation Station, games, costume contests and live entertainment including “Snoopy Tricks and Treats Adventure.”

New Entertainment

HalloWeekends will feature an expanded lineup of live entertainment, including the new “Midnight's Mythmakers,” where guests help create unique Halloween tales with customizable levels of scares alongside Mr. Midnight’s three mysterious storytellers.

  • NEW! “Fangs: Eternal” in the Red Garter Saloon.
  • “Opening SCARYmoanies” featuring Mr. Midnight and his minions in Frontier Town.
  • “The Shrieks! Contamination” in the Jack Aldrich Theatre.
  • “Wake the Dead: Til Death Do Us Part” in the Palace Theatre.
  • “Butchers of Rock” on the Gemini Midway.
  • “Skeleton Crew” and “The SKA-letons!” on The Bonewalk (The Boardwalk).

2027 Season Passes at Lowest Price This Year or Next

The best way to experience HalloWeekends and more is with a 2027 Gold Pass, giving guests access to Cedar Point and Cedar Point Shores Waterpark this year and next, free parking, in-park discounts, Perks & Play rewards and access to other Six Flags parks in the region including Kings Island and Six Flags Great America.
