Dragster still day-to-day

Cedar Point is hoping for Top Thrill Dragster to operate sometime over this weekend, but there are no guarantees.

Cedar Point spokeswoman Janice Witherow told the Sandusky Register that the contaminants in the hydraulic oil have been filtered out, but the park is still working to make sure the coaster operates consistently.

Witherow told the Reigster that if Top Thrill Dragster does not open this weekend, it doesn't mean it will automatically close for the season.
