Games gone from Quarterdeck Arcade

The Quarterdeck Arcade sits empty with its sign removed. Evidence from the Pirate Ride remains with tire tracks from the ride on the floor along with a mural on the wall.
Game fans may have noticed something a little different at the Quarterdeck Arcade when the park opened in May. The video games were removed before the start of the season. The former location of the Pirate Ride had been home to a small arcade since 1997.

Public Relations representative Janice Witherow said the decision to close the arcade was made because it was simply not very popular.

"We do not have any specific plans on the table as of yet for this location," Witherow said.
