Movie shoot set for June 14

Filming for the movie "Close Encounters of the Fourth Kind: Infestation from Mars"  will begin in Sandusky on Monday with the Cedar Point  scene to be filmed on June 14, the Sandusky Register reported.

Those wishing to be an extra in the Cedar Point scene should show up at the park's entrance at 10 p.m.  Cedar Point's parking fee will apply.

Executive producer Elliott Haimoff told the Register that he expects as many as 10,000 people for the Cedar Point scene.  Of those, 500 extras will get an opportunity to be slimed by the movie's monster.
