Cable problem stops Dragster; scheduled to be open today

A problem with the launch cable on Top Thrill Dragster closed the ride shortly after 2:30 p.m. yesterday. The cable did not separate and new cables were placed on the ride last night.

"(Top Thrill Dragster) is scheduled to be up and operational today after a long night of tireless work from our maintenance crew," said Cedar Point Public Relations Coordinator Bryan Edwards.

Intermittent delays are expected for re-adjustment of the new cables.
