Cedar Point to celebrate Inedpendence Day with patriotic fireworks display

SANDUSKY, Ohio, June 24, 2004 – Cedar Point amusement park/resort is set to light up the sky over Lake Erie with an amazing fireworks display on Sunday, July 4, at approximately 10 p.m. (In case of inclement weather, the fireworks will be postponed until Monday, July 5.)

This year’s fireworks display will be produced by Zambelli Internationale, Inc., New Castle, Pa. Zambelli Internationale, Inc. is the oldest and largest American firm in both manufacturing and displaying fireworks with a history that covers 100 years and three generations of the Zambelli family. Following the fireworks display will be “Snoopy’s Summer Spectacular,” a nighttime spectacle of light and sound. “Snoopy’s Summer Spectacular” will be shown at 11 p.m. on Sunday, July 4 and is shown nightly at 10 p.m. (weather permitting) through Aug. 22.

Back and better than ever is “Snoopy Rocks! On Ice.” Located in the Good Time Theatre, this 30-minute ice-skating spectacular features everyone’s favorite beagle, Snoopy, and the rest of the PEANUTS gang in the Midwest's only theme park ice-skating extravaganza. “Snoopy Rocks! On Ice” can been seen Saturday, June 26 through Labor Day, Sept. 6, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays at 1 p.m., 3 p.m., 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.; and on Saturdays at 1 p.m., 3 p.m., 5 p.m., 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. The show will not be presented on Wednesdays.
