Cedar Point promotes two

Cedar Point recently promoted two full-time employees.

Katja Rall-Koepke has been promoted to vice president of general services.

In her new position, Rall-Koepke is responsible for overseeing the human resources, purchasing, linen services, wardrobe, security and safety divisions at the park.

She has worked at Cedar Point for more than 30 years, most recently as the director of general services.

Rall-Koepke is also a member of the Erie County Human Resources Association, Junior Achievement of NW Ohio, Business Volunteer Council of Erie County and is a graduate and past president of Leadership, Enrichment, And Development, Sandusky.

She earned her bachelor's degree from Heidelberg College, Tiffin, and her master's degree from Bowling Green State University.

Greg Scheid has been promoted to vice president of merchandise and games.

In his position, Scheid is responsible for overseeing the operation of the park's merchandise and games departments along with managing the direct import program.
