New PTC exhibit at Sandusky museum

The newest Museum of Carousel Art and History exhibit, "PTC from A to Z: 101 Years of the Philadelphia Toboggan Company," will open to the public on March 2.

The Philadelphia Toboggan Co., the company responsible for Cedar Point's Blue Streak, began as a carousel manufacturer and evolved into the roller coaster business.  The exhibit will focus on PTC's carousel history.

The museum is celebrating its 15th anniversary this summer. In honor of the anniversary, a number of band organ collectors will show off their band organs July 7-9 in Sandusky's Washington Park.
