Cedar Point hires two

Cedar Point amusement park and resort has added two full-time staffers.

Missy Smith has been hired as accounting manager in the finance division.

She's responsible for Cedar Point accounting duties such as payroll, accounts payable and receivable and financial statement preparation. Smith is a 1993 graduate of The Ohio State University and is pursuing a master's degree in business administration from Heidelberg College in Tiffin. She was a treasury manager for seven years at Industrial Powder Coatings in Norwalk.

Tony Clark has been hired as a public relations representative in the marketing division. Clark will handle media inquiries, write press releases and help generate news coverage for Cedar Point. Clark, who earned his bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communication from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He worked in Milwaukee for Entercom Radio, where he was an on-air personality, promotions assistant and production director.
