Millennium Force catchcar detaches

One of the trains on Millennium Force stopped approximately 3/4 of the way up the lift hill on Tuesday because the catchcar became detached from the train, Cedar Point Public Relations Representative Bryan Edwards told PointBuzz.

The park used the funicular to bring the guests back down into the station. Everything went according to plan and no one was hurt. It took them approximately one hour to get everyone down safely.

Millennium Force was closed due to weather as of this afternoon.
